Guided with Grace Home Care is a dedicated elder care provider focused on delivering high-quality, in-home care services tailored to individual needs.
Our caregivers are more than trained professionals they are compassionate companions who bring warmth, patience, and understanding into every home they serve.
We take pride in creating a safe, supportive environment where seniors can maintain their independence while receiving the care they need.
Guided with Grace Home Care exists because of a gap we kept seeing in senior care. Plenty of agencies can send someone for a few weeks after surgery. Far fewer are organized around the reality that most older adults who need help at home will need it for years, with needs that grow and change along the way.
We built the agency for that reality. From our office in Naperville, we provide non-medical home care throughout Kendall, Will, DuPage, and Kane Counties, and we structure everything around continuity: the same caregiver, a living care plan, and a relationship with the family that lasts as long as the care does.
That focus shapes practical decisions. It is why we invest in matching a caregiver to a client rather than filling a shift with whoever is free. It is why our care plans are reviewed and updated rather than written once and filed. And it is why families tell us the caregiver has become part of the household.
Four values guide how our caregivers behave when nobody is watching. They are not slogans; they are the standards we hire for and hold people to.
We lead with kindness. A caregiver who is patient on a bad day, who notices sadness as well as symptoms, and who treats the person rather than the task.
We honor each person’s choices and independence. Clients decide how they are helped, and caregivers assist rather than take over.
We are honest and transparent with families. If something went wrong, you hear it from us first. If we cannot meet a need, we say so.
We treat every client, every home, and every family with care and consideration, regardless of background, condition, or circumstance.
The quality of home care is the quality of the person in the home. Everything else is administration. We take caregiver selection seriously for that reason.
Every caregiver is background-checked before they enter a client’s home. We interview for experience and skill, but just as much for warmth, patience, and reliability, because those cannot be taught quickly.
Caregivers are trained in the practical skills of personal care and safe transfers, and in the specific approaches required for clients living with dementia, including communication techniques, redirection, and managing wandering and sundowning.
Caregivers document each visit, and families can see what happened during the day. Concerns from either side are raised promptly. Caregivers who know they are supported and heard stay longer, which is exactly what continuity requires.
If you are a caregiver who shares these values, our careers page explains what working with us involves.
Families sometimes worry that an agency will be impersonal or rigid. In practice, the experience of working with Guided with Grace follows a consistent pattern:
We are a licensed and insured non-medical home care agency in Illinois. We do not provide nursing or medical treatment, and we work alongside the physicians, home health nurses, therapists, and hospice teams already involved in your loved one’s care.
Good intentions are not enough, so we look for evidence. In practice, care is working when your loved one looks forward to the caregiver’s visits rather than tolerating them, when routines such as meals, hygiene, and medications are happening reliably, when the family hears about small changes before they become emergencies, and when family caregivers are actually taking the breaks they planned.
When something is not working, we want to hear it early. Families can contact the office directly at any time, and care plans are adjusted whenever needs change rather than on a fixed calendar. That responsiveness, more than any single service, is what allows a care relationship to last for years.
Our office is located at 1755 Park St, Suite #200, Naperville, IL 60563. Our caregivers live and work in the communities they serve, from Naperville and Aurora to Joliet, Plainfield, Oswego, Wheaton, and the surrounding towns of DuPage, Will, Kane, and Kendall Counties.
Being local matters in practical ways. We know the hospitals and rehabilitation centers families are discharged from, the distances caregivers travel, and the winter conditions that affect scheduling. You can read about how we serve specific communities on pages such as caregivers for the elderly in Naperville and senior home care in DuPage County.
